SEVENMILE MESA, UTAH
A resort of thirty-four suites and eight casitas, set low in a fold of the high desert. Built from the ground it stands on; open the year round.
Framed views of mesa and wash, stone floors underfoot, and light that does the decorating. Every suite faces empty land.
Eight freestanding houses a short walk from the main building, each with its own courtyard, fire and plunge pool.

ACCOMMODATION
Four suite types and the casitas, from 60 to 210 square metres. Stone, plaster, timber; nothing that argues with the view.

EXPERIENCES
Slot canyons, rim trails and night skies — guided, or maps at the desk for the stubborn.

WELLNESS
Hot and cold pools cut into the rock, and treatment rooms that smell of cedar.

DINING
A dining room that follows the sun, and a fire terrace that follows the dark. The menu is written the same morning it is cooked.

OPEN SEASONS
Stay three nights between November and February and the last one is not on the bill.
